Rehte to hain dil mein dil kaa nishan maaloom nahin
Makin hee doond rahaa hoon makan maaloom nahin

Gham-e-mohabbat mein raahat sii paane lagaa hoon
Kahan gaayin kuchh merii betaabian maaloom nahin

Khushi gini chuni hee dekhin hain sab mutaalyaa hai
Gham itne dekhen hain ke gehraaian maaloom nahin

Chaahe zeest ke khashtee taa.umr dholtee hee rahee
Yeh to nahin ke paani kee rawaanian maaloom nahin

Chaman kaa zaroor fiqr bhi ho gar aashyan bhi to ho
Kab kidhar toot parhein yeh bijalian maaloom nahin

MohaN aenaa naa dekh peer hai tu, manzil dur nahin
Kahan kahan lutaa thaa yeh kaarwan maaloom nahin
