naa mai jaltee hooN naa to bujhtee hooN
bheegee lakdee se mai sulagtee hooN

band kamre me band hawaa kee tarah
baahar aane ko mai tarastee hooN

ye ghutan ye chubhan sahooN kaise
sard aaheN hee bas mai bhartee hooN

lapke shole hawaa bhee tundkhoo hai
khushq aaNkhoN me khwaab bhartee hooN

humqadam ban ke saath ho phir bhee
kyuN mai tanhaaiyoN me ghirtee hooN

shams e umeed to nikaltaa nahee
teergee se abas mai ladtee hoon

kitnaa sailaab hai mere andar
bah naa jaaye jahaaN mai dartee hooN

Achchhee ghazal hai, ye bhee..
matle se maqte tak dard hee
dard hai...

Ek matla kaha tha..woh yaad aa gaya..
ghazal pooree naheen ho paayee..

"jitna peesaa hai utna rachtee hai
 woH to mehaNdee hai woH mahaktee hai"

Dili daad qubool karen.
