Koun kehta hai ki ashq sirf bahaane ke liye hain,
Main Kehta hoon ashq hote hai dil ke zajbat dikhane ke liye.

Ashq na hote to na hum khush hote na rote,
Yehi wo jaria hai doosron ko apna sandesh pahuchaane ke liye.

Ashqon se bachkar koi kaise reh sakta hai,
Ye bhi to tareeqa hai apni baat manmaane ke liye.

कौन कहता है कि अश्क़ सिर्फ  बहाने के लिए है,
मैं कहता हूँ अश्क़ होते हैं दिल के ज़ज्बात दिखाने के लिए हैं.

अश्क़ न होते तो न हम खुश होते न हम रोते,
येही वो जरिया है दूसरों को अपना सन्देश पहुचाने के लिए.

अश्क़ों से बचकर कोई कैसे रह सकता है,
ये भी तो एक तरीका  है अपनी बात मनवाने के लिए.
