Lambi thi tere dard ki pukaar
Magar thi to pukaar tere dil ki

Taveel rahi baten pechida si teri
Magar baten hi to thi tere dil ki

Kya voh samjhe ga dil ki baten teri
Jalna mohabbat me na sikha jo kabhi

Chahne ko to thi aur bhi kai adaen teri
Magar chaha dil ne to vohi ek ada teri
