MehrbaaN ho ke apni bazm me mujhe bulyaya to.
Chalo kam se kam aaj unhe mera khayal aya to.

Humne to socha tha ki bhul baithe hai.N wo hume.
Na shai karib ka door hi ka koi rista nibhaya to.

Ek mudaat ke baad aaj deedar-e-jaana hone ko hai.
Sang-e-surkh nahi hua hai dil, chalo sharmaya to.

Sher-o-sukhan khete hai ajeem koi ansaN kaam nahi.
Dard-e-dil mera mehfil me chalo kisi kaam aaya to.  

Na-ashna kehkar usne taal diya sar-e-bazm 'pankaj'
SukooN yahi hai faqat kuch waqt saath bitaya to.
