kesi key dhadkan key peechey koi bat huti hai,
har hasi key pechey ek dard chupa huta hai,
aap ko peta hu ya naa hu,
bahley he her khushi key pechey keysi ki faryaad huti hu,
dil ki gheyraeyo mey bhi to nam sirf uska huga jo humey yaad kerta huga,
humbhi rooj chinktey hungey jo humey yaad kerta huga,
humarey dil sey bhi yehai duya nikalti hugi
key faryad kerney valey ki her murad puri hu
dukhu ka na vo kabhi samna karey
hum dil sey bus yahee duya karey.

is qder rona huya key mehfil ki humey umeed na thi,
aur hum bhool he baithey they kee koi aur bhi hai humrey gummey shamil mager,
dil etna roo rha tha key humey kuch yaad nahi tha,
mehfil mey jub bazi tali to lega humarey gum mey  shamil koi or bhi tha.

Dard yun gum ho jaata hai, unke hansi afsaane meiN!!

Ek pal ka intezaar bhi, sadiyon baraabar lagta hai!
Par, har der par nahin chookte, wo hasin bahane banane meiN!!

Khud-b-khud dil ka haal bayaN, karte hain unke saamne!
Ek nasha sa chha jaata hai, unki baaton ke paimaane meiN!!

Chhup chhup ke kono meiN, bahut karli aankheN geeli!
Ab maza aata hai 'mujhe', saath aansoo bahane meiN!!,................
