                                 perwaane  ki  vafaa   dekhi!
                                 jab jalti hui shamaa dekhi!!

                                 huaa  jab   apnaa    nangaa!
                                 to aankho.n ne  hayaa dekhi!

                                 munsif  kaa  insaaf  ye thaa!
                                 be-gunaah  ne  sazaa   dekhi!

                                 ilaaj   bhi   huaa  hairaan !
                                 jo  mohabbat ki shafaa dekhi!

                                 qasoor  apnaa raat ne maanaa!
                                 jab  roshni  ki khafaa dekhi!

                                musibat me.n hi MARHOOM ne aksar!
