Raah e manjil  kaa  pataa na  tha.
Dil ye mera  kabhi  dookha na tha.

Zindagi  badey sukoon  se  guzari.
Jab tak mohhobat  ka pata na tha.

Shaan o shokat ki zindagi thi mari.
Seer ye kisi ke aage jhooka na tha.

Mahfil hua karti thi mari bhi kabhi.
Yuh to main bhi kabhi tanha na tha.

Tadap koi nahi thi ke dil rota mera.
Khush rahta  koi dard lamha na tha.
