                            khamosh   nigaaho.n   se wo kahtaa chala gaya!
                            khamosh  nigaaho.n  se main suntaa chala gaya!

                            bikhre hue lafzo.n ko dekar tarteeb mokhtalif!
                            khayaalo.n  mein  unhein  bunn taa chala gaya!

                            adaa hu-ba-hu thi mere mahboob si, ghazal mein!
                            ghazlo.n  mein  use  dhhond  taa   chala  gaya!

                            rakhe  hai  asar  jaam  bhi  apne  wajood  ka !
                            guzra jo  maikhaane  se to jhoomtaa chala gaya!

                            zaeef  hui nigaaho.n  mein  utre  phir se ashq!
                            manzar-e-maazi MARHOOM jo ghoomtaa chala gaya!
