tanhaa si is raat me, main aaj tanhaa baithaa hoon
dhundli si kisi tasveer ko yaad karne baithaa hoon

aaj firse un puraane dino ki yaad aa gayi
wo yaad, jo kai barso se bhulaaye baitha thaa
aaj jaane kahaan se un dino ki yaad aa gayi
wo milna usse chori chupke
wo baatein karna ghanto tak
leke uska haath apne haathon me
kehna dil ki baat usse
wo din bhi kitne khaas the
jab wo mere paas the
aaj un dino ki fir se yaad aa gayi....

Bahut khoob Hriday jee
tanhaaiyon ne hame bhi khoob rulaaya hai
aansu na ruk sake jab yaad vo aaya hai

aise palon kee yaad bhulaai nahee jaatee
