Parinda bismil tha udaan bhar na saka.
Aasmaan ki hadon se aashna ho na saka.

Kahan hai chara gar bechare ka jo dawa kare.
Aasmaan khud utar ke zameen pe aa na saka.

Tu mila to dil ko laga Haan wo tu hi hai.  
Tu raha to dil ke qareeb par tujhe apna na saka.

Ek tere aane ka tha intezaar tahe dil se.
Khuda khud aagaya lene fir bhi jaa na saka.
