ab zeete zeete ye zindagi khatam ho gayi,
ye meri mohhobat unke liye sitam ho gayi,

kiyon bhool gyi mujhe ye pata laga hume,
ke meri narazgi unke liye zulam ho gayi,

hum bhi zee lenge ek din paker kisi ko,
yehi meri baate unke liye jalan ho gayi,

bethey hai hum aaj apne gumo ke bich me,
meri haalat aaj unke liye sukoon ho gayi,

unhone mari dhoker hum ker na paye saamna,
jo meri berbaadi unke liye junoon ho gayi,

jal rahi hai laash na aaye mere sanam[jeet],
meri akhri tamnna unke liye ghamand ho gayi,
