jab  pehli   baar mili  thi  mujhse,  shamraai   bhi  thi
jhuki jhuki  si  nazron  se apne,  muskuraai   bhi  thi

waise  to  ajeeb   hi  rang  dikhaati rahi  hai  zindagi
hamaare  hi dhun pe tab zindagi gungunaai  bhi  thi

aaj tak to kabhi huwaa nahi, hamaare  saath  aisaa
kismat ne  shaayad  hamaare  tab li angdaai bhi thi

yun to aadat ho  chuki  thi  tanhaa rehne ki humein
kuch pal  hi  sahi  magar  duur  huwi tanhaai bhi thi

hum samajhte they ki kisi ko mohabbat nahi humse
dabey dabey paaon se chalke mohabbat aai bhi thi
