चन्द लम्हों के लिए ये हिमाकत कर दो,,
मेरा खाली जाम अपने खूने जिगर से भर दो.

जाम खाली है और  पैमाना भी है खाली,
जाम खाली न रहे कुछ तो इसमें भर दो.

तन्हाइयों ने मुझको बंधक बना रक्खा है,
अगर चाहो तो सुनहरी यादें मेरे साथ कर दो.

ज़िंदगी "बेताब" की और भी हसीं हो जायेगी
अगर मेरी पेशानी पे प्यार से अपना हाथ रख दो.

अपने दिल हाल किसी को भी सुनाया न करूँगा,
गर अपने दिल का रावता मेरे दिल से क़ायम करदो.

Chand lamhon ke liye ye himaqat kardo,
Mera khali jaam apne khoone jigar se Bhar do.

Jaam khali hai aur maikada bhi hai khali,
Jaam khaali na rahe ismen kuchh to bhardo.

Tanhaiyon ne mujhko bandhak bana rakkha hai,
Agar chaho to sunhari yaaden mere saath kardo.

Zindgi “Betaab” Ki aur bhi haseen ho jaayegi,
Agar meri peshaani par Pyar se apna haath rakh do.

Apne dil ka haal kisi  ko bhi na sunaya karunga,
Agar apne dil  ka rawta mere dill se kayam kardo.
