जब से अहसास की अग्नि में जल रहा हूँ,
बन के कीमिया और भी निखर रहा हूँ.

अपने ज़मीर की गलियों में भटकते हुए,
बन के खुश्वू तेरी साँसों में ठहर रहा हूँ.

मुझको सुनना है तो आँखों से सुनकर देखो,
तेरा कल हूँ जो आज में होकर गुजर रहा हूँ.

मुझको इस जहाँ में न ढूंढना "बेताब",
तेरा ही अंश बनके तुझमें बसर रहा हूँ
