mohabbat ki har baat purani ho gayee
  shuru hone se pehle hi khatam kahani ho gayee

jab bhi chaha unse baat dil ki bataane ko
  bina kasoor ho gaye khafa yeh kaisi unki manmani ho gayee

kasmein waade reh gaye bas ek tarfa hi nibhaane ko
  na rakh sake sambhal ke chahat ki har nishaani ho gayee

yeh maana tha chalenge har kadam sath mil kar hum
  manzil to abh bhi wohi hai magar raahein beghaani ho gayee

maine likha dil ke kehne par yeh paigham yehi soch kar
  mil jaye phir sath yeh ghuzarish lafzhon ki zubaani ho gayee
