PERHAPS SOME DAY

We may know who we are or we may not.
We may be Muslims, Jews or Christians.
But until our hearts become the mould
For every heart, we will see only our differences

We may remain Hindus, Sikhs or Bhudists,
Or we may remain of any other religion,
That I mention not.
But until our heart change and decide to think,

Shaayad kisee din hum yeh jaan paayein
Ke aakhir hum hain hee kaun  
Yaa phir kabhi samajh hee naa paayein
Bas hum sochte hee reh jaayein
Ke hum Muslim yaa Hindu hain
Yaa Jews yaa Bhudist yaa Isai hee hain
Magar jab tak hum yeh naa samjh jaayein ge
Hum hain to ek hee bashar
Ek hee khuda ke banaaye-o-bhejhe insan
Tab tak humaare beech kuch naa kuchh farq
Dosto aur Saathiyo yeh kabhi naa mit paayein ge
Hum bas insaaniyat se mehroom hee reh jaayein ge
