Aajki rat, kya bat, sharad-purnimaki rat,

chamakte sitaroke bich hoga khubsurat chand,

kavi,shayaroki kalam vari jaye  chandke nam,

aaj chandse ho jayega har kisiko pyar..



Aagamanse tere hogi roshan sari kaynat,

milegi har kisiko chanderi dhupki saugat,

manayenge purnima sweet-sweet dudh-pauva ke sath,

aaj chandse ho jayega har kisiko pyar..



Taknese nahi thakegi nazar dekhenge chand bar-bar,

hoga har pal roshan, banegi rat yadgar,

chandaki chanderi chandanise ratko lagenge char-chand.

aaj chandse ho jayega har kisiko pyar..
