abhi to shabdon ko thik se piroya bhi nahi hu
aansuon me in ko bhigoya bhi nahi hu
kase kah du in shabdon se ke yun na aaya karo
in Shabdon ke sath salon se roya bhi nahi hu

ye shabd hi to hai jo hamraaj hai mere
ye shabd hi to hai jo geet-saaj hai mere
ye shabd hi mujhko dete hain juban
ye shabd hi to hai jo kal aur aaj hai mere
bhulu shabdon ko kaise yaadon me duboya bhi nahi hu
abhi to ...........

maine khai haiu kasam inka sath nibhane ki
maine socha hai har lamha inko chahane ki
maine chaha hai har pal inko thamne ki
talash karta hu inko galiyon me jamane ki
fir bhi ab tak sahi mayne me dhundh paya nahi hu
abhi to........

in shabdon ne mera maksad badal dia
ye milkar sine me ek taqat si bhar dia
isne di hai mujhe himmat jamane se ladne ki
isne hi door jane ka thoda sa darr dia
ye mere apne hai mai inka paraya nahi hu
abhi .............
