ye hariyal chathaoN ki
ye unmaaD ghataaoN ki
ranG o shokh bahaar e chamaN
ye andaaz fizaaoN ki--

ye madakta ye chanchalta
itt utt doley dhak dhak boley
jhoome mann naache jiya
hai sangeet taraanO ki--

chaadar taane vishaal gagaN
chamakk bikhere sitaaroN ki
chupp chupp jaye paas na aaye
chaandni hai ujaaloN ki--

ghupp andhera pal bhar aaye
kuch pal ki nirasha laye
aankheN meeche Sarfira
chupchap khada bas muskuraye---
