Dino ke baad meri aankh ne khushi dekhi
Yeh us ko dekh liya hai ke zindagi dekhi

Woh meherbaan ho kaise ke us ne aaj talak
Na mera haal suna hai na bekali dekhi

Gulab me nazar aati na motiye me kabhi
Kisi ke chehre pe hum ne jo tazgi dekhi

Suni thi Maa se kahani jo ek pari ki kabhi
Hum us ko bhool gaye they ke ek pari dekhi

Mushayre me suni sab ne shayri kal shab
Humari aankh ne hairat se shayri dekhi
