Parchhaiyo me bhi dikhta chehra khas hai...
Wo door hai kahi mujhse par lagta hai paas hai...
Mile nahi hai barso se ek milne ki aas hai...
Mitti nahi hai kabhi kya ye wo pyaas hai...

Gam ke dhundh me chaayi tasweer koi...
Paas aa raha jaise apna bhi kahi...
Dil ki awaazo ko lagta hai yahi...
Jaise mujhse wo milegi abhi...
Mitti nahi hai kabhi kya ye wo pyaas hai...

Jhilmilati ankho me chhayi hai nami...
Tere hi khwalo se seechi hai zameen...
Kal tu tha mera tu hi aaj hai...
Saanso me basi hai mere teri saans hai...
Mitti nahi hai kya ye wo pyaas hai...

Bhoolu tujhe kaise tu hi de bata...
Mout bhi nahi kar sakti hamko ab judaa...
Fir se mil jaa mujhko tu kahi...
Kah de wo baaten jo hai ankahi...
Mitti nahi hai kya ue wo pyaas hai...

Fir bhool kar jiya mai tujhko is kadar...
Na pata duniya ka na apni rahi fikar...
Kah de mujhko jo hai aaj hai...
Dil me daba na jo bhi raaz hai...
Mitti nahi hai kya ye wo pyaas hai..
