Mein ney pee hai zaroor: pee hai: nazar sey pee hai!

 Zehn ney pee hai noor-o-husn ki sharaab yaheen!
 Chashm-e-gouhar mein dikhaayi diyaa hai aab yaheen!
 Mujh ko ab tak wuzood-e-hoor pai shak thaa; leykin,
 Roo-b-roo hai pareeandaam sarey khwaab yaheen!!

 Larhkharhaatey huye qadmoun kaa sabab aur hi hai:
 Mein ney pee hai zaroor: pee hai: nazar sey pee hai!
 Jaan paayengey wajah, ishq kiyaa hai jin ney:
 Mein ney to pooree zindagee isee tarah jee hai!
