surmai shaam sa savera ho
raat kaisa bhi andhera ho



tamaam khwaab jhilmilaate
jaise taaron ka dera ho



hothon pe ye tabassum
koi hosh ka lutera ho



jidhar se tum guzar jaao
wahin chain ka basera ho



dunia aisi bhi hogi jahan
na tera ho na mera ho



tumhaari zulf jo bikhre
sapna koi ghanera ho



khil si jaati hai fizaa
zikr jahan bhi tera ho
