Ise ittefaq na kaho, ye ittefaq nahi hai.
sirf dekh kar jo guzre wo mulaqat nahi hai.    
Itne magroor na bano bas ek tohfa dekar.
Tohfa-e-ashq mohabbat ki sougat nahi hai.    
Ishq kiya hai maine tum bhi iske gawah ho.
 Fir tumhe kese chahu ye koi kheraat nahi hai.    
Wo lahu mange to cheer dete hai apne hath log.
Jiske bager zamane ki raat koi raat nahi hai.
Hume to mange se koi mout bhi nahi deta.
Shayad tumhare bager itni bhi hamari  "Nishu" ookat nahi hai.
