Ek bewafa ko chah ke dard-e-gam se chur ho gate
hum ek khushi ki talash mein har khushi se dur ho gaye

jagi jagi si palko mein chain ka jo khawab tha
na humein ehsas tha ke wo dard ka sailab tha
uski jhuthi chaht ke sapno mein hum khud se dur ho gaye

pass thi apne manzile, jaa ke bhi na jaa sake
sukh wo, thi jiski  aarzu pa ke bhi na pa sake
bheed mein bhi tanha jiye uski chaht me yun besudh ho gaye

arman the jo is dil ke tut ke wo bikhar gaye
khawab the jo zindgi ke haqeeqat mein na bdal sake
dhundhne chale the zindgi, zindgi se dur ho gaye......
