kisi ki aarzu ko sach me badalne nikla hu,
ik bujhta sitara hu mai tootne nikla hu,
uski siyah zulfon ke andhero me is shab,
lo aaj mai khud hi ko dhundne nikla hu,
ik bujhta sitara hu.......
zara dekhu to jalne ka lutf kaisa hota hai,
mai aaj shama ki lau ko chumne nikla hu,
ik bujhta sitara hu.......
teri sohbat ne faqat gham ke khazane diye,
mai tanha raaho'n me aaj lutne nikla hu,
ik bujhta sitara hu........
gunah kyun na karu jab begunahi ki saza paayi hai,
aaj aake dekh mai tujhe bhoolne nikla hu,
ik bujhta sitara hu........
tujhse milna bhi tujhse zudai bhi mile,
likha kyun aisa naseeb khuda se puchhne nikla hu,
kisi ki aarzu ko sach me.......
ik bujhta sitara hu........
