tumhe chaha humne,  
   bas hui itni si khata..
bekhabar hue zamaane se,
   bhule ghar ka pata..

is kadar pagal hue,
   ki ghar baar choota..
teri diwangi mein,
   dil ka taar taar toota..

hum hi the diwaane,
   jo ye bimaari paali..
ishq mein tere apni,
   duniya hi jala daali..

teri mohabbat ke dum par,
   har kadam humne uthaya..
par tune hi aaj mujhe,
   ek pal mein thukraya..

ek hum the, jo dil par mite the,
   aur tum,jisne husn par jaan lutaayi..
humne tere liye khud ko mitaya,
   tune,isi mohabbat ki laash bichaayi..
