Zindgi kya ajab paheli thi.
iski koi nahin saheli thi.

Hamne khaye the zakhm sine par,
Aur har chot dil pe jheli thi.

Thi bahut tez dhup rahon main,
Dur tak main bahut akeli thi.

Dur se ham palat hi aaye the,
Chaal kuchh usne aisi kheli thi.

Ek samndar diya tha ashkon ka,
Har khushi usne meri leli thi.
