Jab se gaye pardesh piya, prem rog lagai ke
Bavri mai ho gayee, jiyara lutai ke

Unse milne ke pehle, mai toh thhe ekdam bholi
Pyar unhi ne sikhlaya, ban ke humjoli
Ab vahi bisra gaye, sapne dikhai ke
Bavri mai ho gayee, jiyara lutai ke

Bato mein behla ke, kitne vade kar dale
Ab vahi vade balam, tune hi bhula dale
Tujhko hi bas yad karoo, hai pachhtai ke
Bavri mai ho gayee, jiyara lutai ke

Kismat meri tumne savari, thham ke iss daman ko
Mohobbat ki raho mein, la ke kahe chhora mujhko
Naina ro ro thhak gaye, nindiya lutai ke
Bavri mai ho gayee, jiyara lutai ke

जब से गए परदेश पिया, प्रेम रोग लगाय के
बावरी मैं हो गयी, जियरा लुटाई के

उनसे मिलने के पहले, मैं तो थी एकदम भोली
प्यार उन्ही ने सिखलाया, बन के हमजोली
अब वही बिसरा गये, सपने दिखाई के
बावरी मैं हो गयी, जियरा लुटाई के

बातों में बहला के, कितने वादे कर डाले
अब वही वादे बलम, तुने ही भुला डाले
तुझको ही बस याद करूं, हाय पछताई के
बावरी मैं हो गयी, जियरा लुटाई के

किस्मत मेरी तुमने संवारी, थाम के इस दामन को
महोब्बत की राहों में ला के, काहे छोड़ा मुझको
नैना रो रो थक गये, निंदिया लुटाई के
बावरी मैं हो गयी, जियरा लुटाई के
