Tujhe chahta raha mai iskadar,
K duniya v bhula baitha,
Teri ek hasi k badle,
Apni zindegi bhula baitha!

Na socha maine aage,
Kya hoga mera hashar,
Tujhse bichadne ka tha,
Dozak jaisa manzar!

Dilme khwahish to thi,
Pyar ki manzil mile,
Ya to farhad, ya mahiwal,
Ka naam mile!


Umid to humne ye ki thi,
Mai ranjha tera tu meri heer bane,
Par shayad khuda ko ye manzur na tha,
K tu meri takdeer bane!

Ab tu nahi hai duniya me,
Hu akela wahi khada,
Tu mumtaz to bangai,
Mai rehgaya niche pada!

Ye zindegi teri yado se,
Ab nasur si chubhti hai,
Kise pata tha meri dasta,
TAJ MAHAL se badi lagti hai!!
