Kalam bhi Meri thi,
alfaaz bhi mere the.
dhadkan bhi Meri thi,
vo Saaz bhi mere the.
Tera tha to bs vo ehsaas,
jo dil ke pass Hamesha tha.
vo yaadein bhi Meri thi,
un yaadon me dekhe khaab bhi mere the.
jo Baki tha jehan me vo Kaafi tha jeene ke liye,
Teri tadap me dard ke ghoonth peene ke liye.
vo pyaas bhi Meri thi
vo jaam bhi mere the.
jo Kafa hue tum to
lage ilzaam bhi mere the.
tumne to shuru kr diye Kaafile jindagi ke,
Vo tooti basti bhi Meri thi,
Vo bikhre gaanv bhi mere the...
