Ab toh haal hai apna ke dil betaab rakha hai..
Hamari zindagi ko apke kuch baad rakha hai..

Hawa ka bhi ishara hai, hamare paas aaiye..
Andhere raston mein noor ko aabad rakha hai..

Kahan tak dooriyan pairon ki mujboori rahengi..
Bas darwazon ke paas mein gulaab rakha hai..

Na ret ke mehal hain, na khwaabon ke guliste..
Haqiqat ke chaman mein fir aaftaab rakha hai..

Ab us dil mein bhi ishq ki shama jalne lagi hai..
Isi masle mein ab dil se dua-o-daad rakha hai..

Keh dijiye baaqi jo hai dil mein kahin ab apke..
Apna toh har ek qissa yun benaqaab rakha hai..

Yeh falsafa hai zindagi ka, kahe dete hain ki..
