Aaj lagta he so gaye saare
Chaand he aasmaan pe na taare!


Saamne aa ke kab se betha he
aastaane pe tere mun haare


piyar karna tujhe nahi aaya
jaan-o-dil hum ne tujh pe go waare.


shehr bhar me ye kis ka charcha he
woh jo jeete ya piyaar me haare.



kia karein bewafa se hum shikwa
hum toe aashiq hein un per dil waare.
