Humne v khwahish ki thi,
Unka didar to hota,
Unse milne ki aas to ki thi,
Kash unhe bhi ye ehsas to hota!


Khuli akhose khwab jo dekhe,
Unme khud hi kho jana tha,
Jante the unki har Niyat,
Phir bhi khud hi jal jana tha!


Tab bhi na samjhe hum unko,
Apna unka maqsad tha,
Wo jo bhi mane humko apna,
Humko unpe hi mar jana tha!
