boliye kuch to yun khamosh na raho ,
                 shikayat hi sahi labhon se lafz kuch to kaho

tum jaante nahin ho meri chalti hain jo  saansein
                 tum paas jo rehte ho isliye dhoor na raho

meri dadhkano mein basta hai naam tumhaara hi
                 zara dil ke kareeb aa kar inki awaaz to suna karo

teri muskurahat mein chhupa hai ek haseen quatil  
                 jaan nikal jayegi yun palkein jhuka kar na hasaa karo

kyun rehte ho dhoor is tarah mehfil mein sanam
                 labhon ko rrehne do bandh aankhon se to kuch kaho

karti hain shukayat mujhse meri kalm jo likhun kuch
                 ghazal jaisi mehbooba ko saamne to rakha karo

boliye kuch to yun khamosh na raho ,
                 shikayat hi sahi labhon se lafz to kaho
