Teri Haseen yaad ki shabnam tamam raat
Dil ki zameeN ko kartee rahee num tamam raat

Karwat badal badal ke guzara harek pal
Hamraah tha hamre tira gham tamam raat

Hichki kisee kee yaad ki bhee maut ki bhee thee
Beemar ka nikalta raha dum tamam raat

Bheege see chaNdnee ne laga dee thee ek aag
Us aag meN jhulaste rahe hum tamam raat

Har lamha izteraab baRhata chala gaya
RungeeniyaaN bikher ke mausam tamam raat

Tanha hameN nah choRa tire ishq ne kabhi
Bahla raha tha dil ko tira gham tamam raat

Ai Aarzoo umeed ki lau bhi ajeeb hai
Ik pal ko bhee huwee nah woh madhham tamam raat
