"The Punishment"
by Amit

Thirsty for her love,
yearning for her touch,
burying his work,
he wails for his mate.
Passing every moment in her feelings,
oh! his foolish fate.
Drunk with the fear of society,
she doesn't seem to listen.
He falls,
and gets hit.
He cannot live,
but he will not die.
