wo teri shafaqat ka zamana bhi mujhe yaad hai
wo teri rafaaqat ka zamana bhi mujhe yaad hai,

In haatho ki lakeero mein dhoondta tha tujhe
tujhe khud me talash karna bhi mujhe yaad hai,

main rooth jaaun kabhi to manaaya karte the tum
phir tumhara bewjah rooth jana bhi mujhe yaad hai,

siskiyon me raatein tumne bi gujaari thi, humne bi
tere tasavur me raaton ko jaagna bhi mujhe yaad hai,

tere waade par hi thukraya tha humne is zamane ko
lekin tera mujhe hi thukra jaana bhi mujhe yaad hai,

wo tumne ek baar kaha tha ki mera ‘Intezar’ karna
phir tumhara laut kar na aana bhi mujhe yaad hai…!
