Zindagi jaisay aik saza ho gai hai
Dektay dekhtay kia se kia ho gai hai

Jab se choora hai touney meray dil ka nagar
Dhoul se haar gali ashna ho gai hai

Sar khushi ki kayfiyat tari rehti thi haar dam
wo bhi hum se na janay kahan kho gai hai

Tou jo rootha hay mujh se too yeh to bata
meri kia thi khata jo saza ho gai hai

Meray lafzoon ki taqat na teray lehjay ki chahat
lagta hay har sada be sada ho gai hai
