Gazale.n kumhalaa ga_ii.n nazme.n murjhaa ga_ii.n
giit sa.Nvalaa gaye saaz chup ho gaye

phir bhii ahal-e-chaman kitane Khush_zauq the
naGmaa-e-fasl-e-gul gun_gunaate rahe

terii saa.Nso.n kii Khushbuu labo.n kii mahak
jaane kaise havaaye.n u.Daa laa_ii.n thii

vaqt kaa har qadam bhii bahakataa rahaa
zaqt le paa.Nv bhii Dag_magaate rahe
