Death Greeted Me
Silently
Inside The Misty Cheeks;
Searching Colourlessly For Beats
Of An Illusion

Trailing Listless Eyes,
Their Dark, Weary Circles
Narrating
The Feud
Laid To Rest
The Ties, Oft Difficult, Wavering
And Expectations -
That Perished Helplessly

Tears Would Soak
The Hungry Pyre
For Remains
To Stray Around
For Some Sunshine

It's another
Of Those Uncertain Nights
Destined
To Darken
A Medic's Reasoning
Before
Funeral News Unfolds
The Dawn

Me need freedom
But
Bound and restricted
I tried to give you up
But I'm addicted
Now that you know I'm trapped
Sense of relaxation
You'd never dream of
Breaking this fixation
