lafz chup hai kiyon aaj mere,
beyaan nahi huye zajbaat mere,

kitna pyaar hai humko tumse,
ager jaan lete ehsaaso ko mere,

aage jake aane wali raat tumko,
satayegi jab aayenge khuwab mere,

tanha e alam mein bethoge jab bhi,
reh reh kar tadpayenge kiyaal mere,

sawaal aaj bhi wohi hai kiya bologe,
jo panne bikhre hai zindagi ke mere,

jin parinndo ko pala karte they kabhi,
woh udd gaye sabhi jo paas they mere,
