woh bhool jayegi ye khuwaab sataya karta hai,
shaam dhalte ho woh sapna rulaya karta hai,

apni be dard e zindagi ko karne nashaad,
main dubta hu to samunder uchaal krta hai,

mere hatho ki lakeere bhadti hai akser
na jane kon mere zeene ki dua karta  hai,

kaisi gujar rahi zindagi ye pucha sabne,
kaise gujarta hu ye koi na swaal karta hai,

ehsaas e mohhobat hi kafi hai mere liye ,
tu nahi,dil fir bhi tujhe yaad karta hai,

lakh chahu to bhi usey wapis la nahi sakta,
tum khud lout aa,o mun yehi fariyaad karta hai,

sun kar meri ghazal woh andaaz badal ker bole,
cheen lo inki kalam jo dil cheer diya karta hai,

do lafzo ki bhi tasli na di is duniya ne,fir bhi
apni har khushi dusro pe akser lutaya karta hai,

khuwaabo se dil lagaker khair aansu,o ke sang,
dard main bhi [jeet] akser muskuraya karta hai,
