dil kiyon hai udaas log puchne lage,
zindagi kiyon naraz ye puchne lage,

kadmo ke nishaan tere dikhe nahi,
raaho se pata tera puchne lage,

kis baat ka gila hai tujhe humse,
sadaa,o se ye raaz hum puchne lage,

khuwaabo ki duniya kiyon hui tanha,
dil main huye sannate ko puchne lage,

mere hi hisse main kiyon hai rusawaayi,
apne armaano ki asthi se puchne lage,

fijaa,o ne bhi rukh badlaa hai kiyon,
khuda ki kudrat se ye puchne lage,,
