Ek   haseeN   chehra ,  abhi    tak   jo   mere   Khwaab   meiN   thha ,
Kal   nazar    aaya  ,   magar    Atlas - o - Kimkhwaab    mein   thha


Chaandni     daal     gaya     bhoole    huay     LamhoN   per  ,
Unn ke   Chehray   ka   haseeN   aks  ,  jo   Mahtaab   meiN   thha


Tum   se    milne   ka   iraada   to   naheeN    thha   ,  lekin  ,
Rasm - e - Duniya   ko   nibhana   mere   Aadaab   meiN   thha


Padhne   se   pahle   jise   ,  Aap   ne   bund   kar   di   Kitaab  ,
Qissa   Barbaad - e - Mohabbat   ka   usee   Baab  meiN   thha


Unn se   milne   ki   bhi    Mohlat   nahiN   dete   thhe  , 'Hasan  ,
Kis  qadar   'pyaar   ka   jazba'   mere   Ahbaab  meiN   thha
