ye yaad nimani jab bhi aa jati hai,
raat gujarti nahi  din dhalta nahi,


dil main zajbaato,n ka bhar kiya padne laga,
aansu rukte hi  nahi  lafj  khulte  hi nahi,

dar ba dar  bhatakna takdeer  ban  see gayi,
koi  manjil hi  nahi  kadam  rukte  hi nahi,

khud takleef  jhailkar  usko  hi  yaad kiya,
woh louta hi  nahi  zakham  bharte  hi nahi,

main kaise yakeen karu har baat jhuthi uski,
mohhobat sachi hi nahi woh  sangdil hi nahi,

tham see gayi raftaar mari  zindagi  ki yuh,
hui shaam hi nahi koi  chandni raat hi nahi,

mare ishq ki inthaa,n  kaise  batau,n tujhe,
ye ehsaas dikhe hi nahi ishq e hadh hi nahi,
