mahfil main dil  udaas tha,
chore  gayaa jo  khaas tha,

kasam de gaya dur hone kee,
kabhee joh dil ke paas tha,

khushi kee gujarish  kaisi,
aksr gam hee aaya raas tha,

gairo,n  sang jaa mila woh,
jis par bohat wishvaas tha,

agosh main hai mout ke abb,
wahi meri zeene ki aas tha,

tanhai de gaya dil koh joh,
saanso,n kee ekk pyaas tha,
