kaliyo per aaj bhawro ka hi basera hai,
dil e aashiyaane per naam bhi tera hai,

sukoon e saanse mili nahi mujhe kahi,
meri zindagi ka shab o shaam bhi tera hai,

mil jaye ger meri waffa ke naqsh e qadam,
chal padna usper wohi raah bhi tera hai,

tera chandni raato mein chore jana mujhe,
kar jata andhkaar jo chaand bhi tera hai,

teri chahat e zaike ki mithaas bhoola nahi,
zism me chalti saanso me bhi ehsaas tera hai,

dur perwat par charwaha ban kar bhoolenge jo
meri zaat ko diya rooh e zakham bhi tera hai,

mera barbaad karke puri tareh shaam o khiyal,
meri jalti hui shaama ka angaar bhi tera hai,
