                           jab  bhi aah-o-fughaan kaa muqaam aayaa!
                           chaltaa  huaa  paas  mere  jaam  aayaa!!

                           baaraah  khootoot-e-mohabbat me.n unkaa!
                           dard    se  labrez     payaam     aayaa!
 
                           tawaqqo   rindo.n  se aur kayaa karoo.n!
                           unki  jaanib   se tohfaa-e-haraam aayaa!

                           samjhtaa rahaa  dost jise saari  umr ko!
                           galaa  katwaane   me.n  wahi kaam aayaa!

                           thhak  gayaa  thaa jaldi-jaldi me.n per!
                           baa-mushkil  zindagi  me.n aaraam aayaa!

                           teraa  ye  anokhaa  andaaz hi jaane man!
                           ash'aar - e - MARHOOM  ke  kaam  aayaa!!
